Just an update...

It seems like every-time I update and think life is gonna slow down, we get hit with some massive life changing event that comes between me and art.

Welp, no exception here.

Actually I think we have been hit with one of the biggest changes we could have faced. I'm just now getting back into the grove of things, and in 100 days life will be tossed upside down again for, oh, about the next 18 or so years.

Dyp has indeed contracted the Egyptian Flu.

Let me just say, Doctors are idiots and when they say " Miss Dyp, you will not be able to have anymore children without medical help" What they are really saying is, " Miss Dyp, I am a moron that knows very little about the mysterious workings of the world, get your man snipped or wear a rubber just in case."

So, in October we will be welcoming a human baby girl to our clan!

Which for me means LOTS of baby stuff to make. I have been doing henna on onsies, making cloth diapers and wipes, making clothes, blankets, booties, making upcycled and reusable about anything I can.

The other huge change is, in prep for the baby coming we rehomed the ferrets. : ( It was sad to see them go, but they are with the Kansas City Ferret Society and are in wonderful care.

So- here are some of the baby onsies thus far. And at some point I will get pics of the skirts and other things I have been working on.

I'm not even gonna say I will post more frequently because everything is crazy right now. ( But I will try ) :)

Some new stuff

I have been a busy dyp. Mostly with non-art stuff, damn life getting in art's way. Here are a few things I have managed to do since my last post.

Some silks..... some pillow cases.....

Some paper.....

Some henna on skin.

Got some nice and dark dark dark color on my finger tips. So here is a pic of the tips.... and a pic of Tika. She was getting Benadryl because she has developed allergies.... poor Tika.

New doll.... a Henna Fae.

Some new whooley-boogers.

Today is the Downtown Peculiar Art's art auction. I have 2 pieces up for auction. Nice happy planks of wood with henna and paint, sealed with mass amounts of Minwax. Thanks to Deb Riser, ( henna crone) for teaching me about Minwax.

Thats all for now....
